  The receptionist does not know how to do her job. She is awful at working with the public and dealing with the minority community . They do not keep their word when it comes to the services they offer.also additionally i would like to know where the money you guys get the community goes if not towards the services offered .also ill note that ill be filing a complaint to the city of las vegas

  I was referred to this place by HELP USA for possible assistance. I honestly don't know where to begin to ask for help. I have never had to ask for assistance before but, my financial situation has changed drastically and suddenly. I am a newly single mother to an 8 yr old, special needs disabled boy who is 24/7 care dependent on me. All I asked was a direction to a department where I can start off. The woman on the other end of the phone was not helpful, condescending, rude and apathetic. This kind of experience is what makes me ashamed to ask for help. Urban League should have higher standards on employees and volunteers. At least start by requiring a training course on compassion and proper communication interaction with people in tribulation. You can change someone's day or outlook on life by your attitude whether it's positive or negative.

  They helped a lot but the women in there have attitudes and don't make you feel welcome. I'll never go back.
